Full EMR/EHR Integration
Click a button on your EMR that links you to PRS for patient result creation.
Automatic notation into the chart that the result was created including patient result data.
Second automatic notation back into the chart when the result was received by patient.
How it works:
At the time of the office or lab visit, the patient is given an instruction card with patient ID and pass code.
Enter patient ID, which is provided to patient during office visit.
Screen automatically populates with patient demographics.
Select responsible doctor and desired result template*.
Select results from customized templates.
Optionally enter personalized message to patient if doctor wants to give special instructions to patient. This message will also be played back to the patient during message retrieval**.
Now click the 'Save' button and you're done. The result is now available instantly to the patient to be retrieved online or by phone, or through the patient portal.  It's that easy.
* Templates: A set of templates are completely customized to meet your clinic's needs. We customize and pre-record all aspects specifically for your clinic; from the tests to the normal values, to the available check items. Many times, clinics choose to have a check list of results with repetitive phrase choices to make this process even faster. Repetitive phrase choices are phrases that the doctor or nurse often uses when giving the result to the patient.

** Additional Details is an area where the result can be personalized to the patient. The nurse can type free text additional instructions or information the doctor would like to communicate to the patient, such as medication changes or to which pharmacy the prescription was called. CTI's PRS is unique from any other patient results system in that it has text to speech capability, which allows the clinic to personalize each result message to the patient.
What's next?
After the result is created, the patient is notified by email, text message, or phone that the result is available.
Email / text message will include a statement that a result is available for them with the website and phone number information to retrieve their result (same as what is on the patient cards). This message will NOT include their Patient ID or Pass Code.
Phone call to patient with the same information plus giving the patient the option to enter their Patient ID and Pass Code and immediately receive their results.
If the patient does not pick up the result within a preset number of days, the patient is again reminded by email, text message, or phone that the result is available.
Summary and detailed reports emailed daily to clinic for result receipt verification for patient documentation. With full EMR/EMR integration, documentation to the chart is automatically done by PRS.
